Goleman Library offers course-integrated library orientations that are tailored to students' research needs. These orientations are hands-on oriented and usually last 50-90 minutes, aiming to empower students and faculty to become more proficient at using the library resources. Nearly all of the library orientations are conducted in Room 106 of Goleman Library, a multimedia classroom with a full-network access to the Library Catalog, Online Databases, and the World Wide Web. There are 23 computers in the classroom which can accommodate up to 35 students (with some students doubling up at some computer stations).
How to Request
Faculty can choose one of the following methods to request for a course-integrated library orientation:
- Completing the online Request Form
- Sending an e-mail to Pedro Reynoso, Interim Coordinator of Bibliographic Instruction and Information Literacy
- Contacting the coordinator by phone at (209) 954-5134
Early submission of the request is encouraged to avoid conflicts of
schedule. Every effort will be made in meeting your request as library schedule
allows.
